Martial Art Styles
A Brief Overview of the Martial Arts We Teach:
Martial Arts styles have evolved in many countries over many thousands of years, this has led to many types of art being developed. These types (styles) were generally designed on the concepts of self-defence and character development. Some styles lean more toward combat skills and others more towards character development. We like to think we have a very balanced approach to teaching these arts as we understand that many people will benefit from learning 'an art' without necessarily ever wishing to compete in combat situations.
The principles stressed in the Martial Arts we teach are; respect, confidence, discipline, mental alertness, and a positive attitude towards life.
High Levels of Enthusiasm and Positive Reinforcement:

Our qualified instructors are energetic and outgoing. They have a sincere interest in your self-improvement, and in helping you reach your goals. They are all extensively trained in the art of PCP (Praise, Correct, Praise) and they ALL use the MOST helpful and encouraging language to inspire and motivate you with their feedback.
Our staff are willing to go the extra mile for you.
A Modern Approach to Self-Defence:
Our Black Belt Leadership Academy is dedicated to helping others develop confidence through self-defence skills. Safety is always our greatest concern. We have taught Martial Arts in Norwich and Norfolk since 1980 and, in that time, we have produced over 350 black belts.
Family Programmes:

Family programs develop team spirit. Our programs are designed to develop and strengthen the unity of the family. When individuals work together as a team, their individual talents will naturally improve.
Taekwondo at the Black Belt Academy is something the whole family can enjoy together.
Convenient Tuition Arrangements:
Our connection with UNITED PROFESSIONALS allows you to budget your tuition over time instead of paying it all at once. This makes Martial Arts affordable for everyone.
We are working together with UNITED PROFESSIONALS and other Black Belt Schools around the globe to raise the standards of the Martial Arts industry.
Dedication, Self-Discipline and Respect: The Martial Arts Philosophy teaches the importance of respect for one's self and others. All Black Belt students must follow the Student Creed. Students will learn to set goals and be self-motivating in achieving them. A positive mental attitude will evolve. Our younger students develop self-confidence to resist peer pressures and the disastrous effects of drugs and gangs.
