LITTLE DRAGONS KARATE

Our Little Dragons classes are designed to give children a great start to learning. Classes are structured to introduce basic Karate principles such as blocking, punching and kicking and we'll also develop your child's fitness, coordination and balance with the use of exercise.

Little Dragons develop higher levels of confidence, self esteem, focus and self discipline thanks to our structured syllabus.

Your child will learn how to pay attention, how to show they are focussed and attentive, how to wait their turn and how to speak up when they need to.

STRUCTURED MARTIAL ARTS

Our Little Dragons syllabus has been designed to introduce basic levels of Karate, similar to those taught to our junior students, and Little Dragons progress through a ranked system the same as our other students.
Little Dragons are invited to gradings if they have shown excellent behaviour and focus during the training period before the assessment.
​
Little Dragons begin at White Dragon and progress through the ranks to Black Dragon.
​Children who reach Black Dragon before turning 7 years old remain in Little Dragons until they are old enough to join Junior Karate. Those who turn 7 before reaching Black Dragon may remain in Little Dragons to complete the Little Dragons program, or move up to Junior Karate.
