ABOUT US
We are a professional Martial Arts school in Norwich and South Norfolk. We've been in operation since April 1980.
We're 'professional' because teaching Martial Arts is our profession - we're open 6 days a week and we operate throughout the school holidays.
Our instructor team are fully qualified, insured and enhanced DBS checked.
They have extensive training in teaching their chosen art and are dedicated to helping their students achieve their very best. All of our instructors continue to train themselves as this is something that we believe is particularly important.
GRANDMASTER RICHARD VINCE, 8TH DAN

Grandmaster Vince began his Martial Arts career in 1979 at Ipswich Martial Arts and Fitness Centre. He achieved his 1st Dan (Black Belt) in August 1982 and has subsequently gained numerous national and international Karate honours. He has represented both England and Great Britain at 19 international Karate events.
​His competitive kickboxing career brought British, European and World title success between 1990 & 1994.
When he retired from competition in 1994 until he opened his full time Academy in Norwich in 2000, Grandmaster Vince, in addition to coaching Karate & Kickboxing, worked in both private and state schools in many roles. These included; one to one SEN, group EBD, one to one EBD, sports and mentoring. These roles have further helped him to provide Martial Arts tuition that suits a massive range of academic ability and emotional resourcefulness.
CLASS STRUCTURE

Structure in Martial Arts is of extreme importance.
​
Grandmaster Vince strongly believes in delivering a quality service to all of his customers which is why he has developed a syllabus system for all of the Martial Arts styles that we teach at our school.
​
Little Dragons, Karate, Kickboxing and Muay Thai each have their own unique syllabi, designed to aid students on their journey to black belt.
​
We do offer one to one tuition for students who struggle to make classes. Please speak to us for more information on this.
LOCATIONS

Our main school is located in Norwich however we do operate satellite locations in South Norfolk.
Presently these are in Harleston and Roydon.
