Welcome to the Black Belt Academy.

We are a professional Martial Arts school with Karate classes, Kickboxing classes and Thai classes, based in Norwich, Diss & Harleston. Owned and operated by Grandmaster Richard Vince, 8th Dan, we have turned hundreds of people into Black Belts since our doors opened in April 1980.

If you are looking for a place to begin your Karate training, Kickboxing training or Thai training, in the easiest possible way, then you have come to the right place.

We nurture all of our students to help them get the most from their sessions and we are especially careful with new customers. We (the instructor team) all remember how nervous we were when we attended our first class, so we do our best to ensure that your first session will be simple, enjoyable and stress free.
